Waves
Enable
Calculate the geometry displacement of waves.
Calcuation Type
- Static: This method will calculate waves based upon the frame you are currently on. This one will be slower as each frame Blender will calculate the terrain AND all the water layers when updating the waves. Does not keep foam around over time.
- Animation: This method calculates waves in a simulation zone. While being the same wave algorithm as Static, this has the added benefit of caching the terrain and water layer geometry. Also, this will simulate crest foam over time giving you foam that moves with the waves.
Waves Amount
Amount of subwaves to calculate. Maximum of 64 waves at value of 1.0. Does attempt to only calculate the amount of waves visible to the resoultion of the water.

A collection of objects to generate foam around based upon distance from each object.
